It may be their first time at The Shuffle but Flour Babies are going to leave an impression on you, especially if you like your music weird and wonky, off-beat and indeed off the beaten track. Definitely hailing from a left field musical place, one that eschews fashion, ignores zeitgeists and mainstream trends and instead makes the music that comes naturally from their heads, hearts and souls.
They do have a demo that you might want to check out, but this is certainly a band that really makes much more sense when you see them play live. Post-punkery meets trashed indie, warped pop meets kooki-rock. I’m just making genres up now, the best way to work it out for yourself is to go check them out.
