Sunday lunchtimes at Devizes road based Tapas Bar Los Gatos are something of a treat as they serve up a traditional Spanish Sunday Lunch…
Paella is traditionally eaten on Sunday lunchtimes in Spain – it certainly makes a change from roast beef! Their paellas are all freshly cooked with Bomba rice and real saffron, and served all together at 1.30pm amid a carnival atmosphere as the whole bar eat together.
They offer a choice of:
- Paella con Carne (meat only,)
- Paella de Mariscos (seafood only,)
- Paella de Verduras (vegetarian and vegan)
- Paella Mixta (meat, vegetables and seafood.) (Our favourite!)
They are open from 12.00 every Sunday, with a relaxed atmosphere accompanied by live acoustic guitar from around 12.45. Stroll in anytime between 12.00 and 1.30, enjoy a drink, listen to the music, read the paper, unwind and pretend you’re on holiday. Booking for paella is highly recommended as they are usually full and they prepare and cook the paella specially for the numbers booked.
