Classic acoustic pop for a mellow afternoon

The weekend is already proving to be a bit of a full on experience with so many musical options, social gatherings, long awaited catch ups and mellow hang outs on the cards. Well, you can tick all of those boxes and a few more besides at Baila Coffee and Vinyl tomorrow afternoon.

As the second instalment of their monthly live music session, Phil Cooper will be playing in the main room from about 3pm. Phil’s music is woven from strands carefully lifted from the golden age of the acoustic pop craftsmanship, familiar threads used to make new and exciting acoustica for todays discerning punter. Sure, you recognise some of the colours and hues, a hint of Crowded House and dash of Del Amitri, Squeeze or Aztec Camera but Phil’s ability to present those familiar patterns in new ways is the real selling point.

So why not take the weight off of your feet for a while, recharge the batteries with some fine coffee or cut loose with the venues wonderful menu of wines, spirits and craft beers. The perfect way to spend the afternoon before you gear up for the Bank Holiday which follows.
